1:1 assessment and intervention - individual programmes to support children with physical, educational social and emotional challenges. Approaches include functional training, brain gym and reflex integration.
Social skills groups - To support the development of healthy relationships among children and youth. Groups can be run at schools, youth centres, alternative education establishments.
Readiness for school – individualised programme to support a child to become a lifelong learner.
Wild one- Adventures in Nature- learn bush skills, navigation, storytelling and much more through a nature-based lens. These programmes are aimed at children aged 5-12
Resilient kids is a nature-based cognitive programme aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 12. These children have often been identified as having observable difficulties within the home, classroom or social situations, especially in executive function, emotional regulation and social interactions. Resilient kids can run within the home, school or bush environment. This programme works with small groups or 1:1 supporting emotional regulation, social skills and integration of motor skills through play-centred learning.
Spirit Youth - Adventure programmes aimed at “at risk “youth. This programme works with outdoor education and military survival skills specialists and incorporates a specific combination of specialised outdoor experiences. The programme has a strong focus on life-skills training, which focuses on improving participants' thoughts about themselves and their lives, and the way they interact with other people. Opportunities for alternative “risky” activities are explored which aim to provide a variety of alterations in the kids’ brain chemistry and offer them what they need to cope better with life without self-medicating with drugs, and alcohol.
Bush school – These programmes are focussed on youth experiencing challenges attending mainstream high school. The focus is on building strong foundations in emotional regulation, social skills and learning within an outdoor/physical environment. There is a strong focus on functional skills- based learning. Students will work with a team to develop their skills and experience working within the bush and mountain environment learning trapping, navigation, hut making and food preparation using natural resources.
Nature experiences- aimed at small groups of under 12’s who would benefit from experience in the outdoors developing life skills. Ideal for children who benefit from hands on learning and who have limited access to Nature.
Family work- These sessions aim at building relationships and connection through adventure- based experiences. These are individualised programmes which range from indoor climbing and games of snooker to outdoor swimming and paddle boarding. There is a strong emphasis on free activities such as hut building, orienteering and picnicking within a local park to support ongoing family engagement.
Well-women sessions- these sessions are aimed at the mothers of children who are being supported by additional services. Our aim is to embed self-care and emotional strength through nature activities. Activities include cold water immersion, jewellery making, mindfulness and spending time in Nature.
Nature and Nurture programme - This is aimed at preschool children and their parents. There is a focus on outdoor play in local parks and playgrounds. All activities focus on play, movement and brain connection.
